Exact is one of the leading accounting, CRM and industry-specific solutions for SMEs in the Accountancy, Manufacturing, Professional Services and Wholesale Distribution sectors. After we first did the succesfull migration of Exact.nl we also were asked to make this happen and do the project management for upgrade of the thirty (!) other international Exact websites.
Exact has tens of Joomla websites in use for all their local country websites. A large part of those were still on an old version of Joomla. Perfect Web Team was asked to upgrade these 30+ websites to the latest Joomla version.
A part of the challenge was asl that every website has it's own webteam. We made sure everyone knew what was going to happen and when. We arranged all communications and project management.
Before executing the upgrades we made a roadmap that was the same for all websites. This helped everyone involved to know what was going to happen and when. This also made easy the scheduling of testing and acceptation after the upgrades. This way we had all sites upgraded in a couple of months to the latest Joomla version.
All upgrades have been executed successfully and according to planning.
